If it is time for leaves to change to warm sunset colors and snuggle blankets to make it out to the fire pit, Jennifer is in heaven! Fall is her favorite time of year and it’s not just because of the apple cider. She enjoys watching America’s favorite sport- Football! GO Panthers!
Growing up in Raleigh has been a blessing for Jennifer. She loves selling and buying with her amazing group, The Gallagher Real Estate Group. She has traveled throughout all the contiguous US and still chooses the Triangle area to be her home!
Vice President/Activities and Communications:
I have lived in Durant Trails for a little over 10 years. I currently am a preschool teacher, a mama to two sweet girls and a silly dog, and a wife to a wonderful husband! I became a member of this board 9 years ago. I started out doing strictly events in the neighborhood and have added things as the years have gone on but the events are where my heart lies. I love creating fun experiences for my neighbors and watching the children really enjoy being a part of this community. This truly is one of the best places to live in Raleigh!
Secretary/Community Watch and Safety:
I retired to Durant Trails in 2009 after many years in law enforcement and security in the Northern Virginia area. I have served on the Board of Directors since 2016. I am responsible for Community Watch & Safety concerns.
After 40 plus years, I retired from the U.S Postal Service. Now I spend my time raising a teenage daughter, keeping my husband busy, being active at church, and serving as member of the Durant Trails Board of Directors (BoD). My position is Chairperson of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). I've been on the Board and on the ARC since my husband and I moved into Durant Trails in 1999. About 10 of those years, I served as Board president. The ARC reviews all exterior change requests and makes sure the guidelines are followed. Our goal is to keep the Durant Trails community one of the best places to live in Raleigh.
Howdy all! My name is Jeremy Baus and my family and I moved to Durant Trails in January of 2015. In our 20 years in the area, we’ve had an opportunity to live all around N. Raleigh and we all agree that Durant Trails is the best! We love this neighborhood and all the neighbors we’ve had the opportunity to befriend. Our 3 children are members of the DT Typhoons swim team, go to school in the neighborhood and spend most of their recreational hours playing outside and knocking on neighbors door trying to get the gang together. We spend the majority our free time in and around our neighborhood, enjoying the greenway and parks, playing with the kids in the cul de sac and hanging out with our neighbors. We live here and love it. This is why I joined the DT board. I hope to help preserve the neighborhood that’s been built over the last 20+ years and keep it as great as it is today!
Community Watch and Safety:
I have been living in Durant Trails for almost 2 years now. I joined the board a year and a half ago and serve as co-Security. When I'm not serving on the board, I'm a firefighter in Durham. I'm originally from South Africa, so I've got a funny accent, but don't be intimidated, I'm a pretty easy going guy. I have a beautiful wife and two sons! We love taking our them for walks on the Greenway or to the park and the pool in the summer, so don't be shy we love getting to know all of our awesome neighbors in DT!
My wife and I (along with our three crazy mutts) moved to Durant Trails in January of 2018, and we’re thrilled to be here. I’m an attorney who has lived in Raleigh since I was a little kid, and I practice primarily in civil litigation with a degree of emphasis on HOA matters. When I’m not hunched over my desk at work, however, you can typically find me doing something outside. My wife and I are both avid musicians, and we also enjoy traveling, camping, concerts, and sporting events. I’m very excited to be a part of the Durant Trails community, and I look forward to getting to know all of our neighbors!
